Transform the life of slum & street children

Beacon of Hope

Don Bosco Ashalayam is an NGO that has been offering children who are either without parental care or at risk of losing it, a value chain of high-quality care services that goes beyond childcare alone and ensures wholesome child development for more than 35 years. Through its Mission Education initiative, we have so far directly steered more than 155,000 children down the road to empowerment through education.

Residential Facilities

Ashalayam is a non-profit organization that operates a residential care center for children in need. The organization's mission is to provide a safe and supportive living environment where children can grow and thrive. Ashalayam currently serves 312 children who reside in 18 hostels and an additional 766 children who attend street and slum schools. The organization's motto, "Home of Hope" reflects its commitment to creating a stable and loving home for children who may not have one otherwise.

Education

Ashalayam offers academic opportunities from primary education through post-graduation and professional studies, tailored to each child’s interests and potential. Classes in Tuition, Functional English, and Computer Studies strengthen academic skills, preparing children for secure and fulfilling futures.
